MINUTES SNOW TUESDAY, DEC. 3 ** Please note that these are very brief given the fact that most work was done in small group gatherings. Meeting facilitated by Carl Meyer who welcomed and asked for introductions all round. Brenda Collier gave an "unofficial" financial report. There are some big expenses owing to the preparations for the event at Garfield on 12/8 but the hope is that revenue from that event will cover those. Individual coalition groups and members have also made donations to help defray costs Marcia Mullins asked for people to look for meeting spaces for the next meetings. (NOTE: we have a place for the meeting on 12/11 (University Baptist Church, 4554 12th NE) but are still looking for ones for 12/19, 12/30 and 1/7. If you can help us with any of these dates, please let Marcia at mmmulliins2@attbi.com or 206-322-8846 know. You could also call the FOR office (789-5565) with that information. SNOW needs to identify someone from our group who will help make decisions at or around any events called by the Emergency Response Network. Brenda Collier, Torrie Arnold and, possibly, Fred Miller will share that responsibility for us. WOMEN IN BLACK noted their concert on 12/9 at the Century Ballroom. It begins at 7:30. (Details have been noted in other postings.) Jeff Gustafson announced a benefit concert for SNOW to take place at the Tractor Tavern on 12/17. Details will follow. Please were enthusiastically helpful in taking on jobs still needed for the 12/8 event. There was also much enthusiasm and productivity in the small group gatherings which took the remainder of the meeting time. Marcia
