WALK FOR PEACE AND HEALING

May 20th, 2006 Greenlake 1-4 PM

Save the date!!
This humanitarian fundraiser invites walkers to collect financial pledges to pay for medical care for a child injured by the war in Iraq. This is our chance: to say YES!, to show the human face of citizens of the United States and to bring attention to those who pay the most horrific costs of war.

Check back here for updates as details are posted regarding how to help get sponsors and to begin to collect pledges. We will soon have a link here to a website specifically for this event.

Please call (206) 322-8846 or write to info@snowcoalition.org now if you can help with publicity and/or join the planning committee for this event.

CHANGING OUR LIVES TO CHANGE THE WORLD

Also known as SNOW Simply for Peace
We are helping community members in the Seattle region understand and act on the link between their lifestyle and U.S. foreign policy. We will help coordinate neighborhood efforts to conserve oil and other resources, educate community members about how they can make a difference, and network with other groups who are working on resource conservation and simple-living initiatives.
